TierPoint, a provider of data center and cloud solutions launched their new Cloud Connect Express service (CCX).
It utilizes TierPoint’s Network Assets and Zayo’s CloudLink Solutions to provide their customers with dedicated, low-latency connections from TierPoint data centers all the way to leading public cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
While the CCX is still in its infancy, TierPoint states that it will soon be broadened to accommodate more and more public cloud services and provide their benefits to other willing partners.
According to said Rob Carter, TierPoint Senior Vice President of Product Development, Architecture and Engineering, many cloud companies are now looking for ways to connect to each other without using the public internet in order to improve efficiency and reduce the load.
He states that CCX would be a good solution in the sense that it would give these public clouds direct interconnectivity without having the need to rely on the public internet for their transfers, making the connection not only more efficient but also more secure.
One of our recent reports mentioned that the Cloud Infrastructure Industry could be worth around $81.29 Bn by 2023. Which was later backed in a report which had details about the increase in the number of fake users who sign up for Cloud services.
The industry is worth that much after removing the fraudulent users, so it becomes important for companies like TierPoint to launch products which could help them attract customers.
